In addition to the general knowledge about the use of respiratory protective equipment (dependent and independent), the candidate is specifically instructed and trained in handling the equipment that he will use in practice. Fitting and wearing a mask is a crucial part of training. The course has been developed in accordance with the SIR guidelines and based on the SIR Respiratory Protection Manual.<\/p>\n<p>When working with nitrogen or under IDL conditions (life-threatening), respiratory protection C is required.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Dutch, the SIR exam (digital) can also be taken in English, German or French.
