The module Drain and Sewer is aimed at:

• People who operate drain and sewer jetting equipment
• A personal copy of the Drain and Sewer water jetting “Red code” is provided during the course and this document is used as a reference throughout
• People who manage and design drain cleaning tasks using water jetting equipment

Specifications

The module Drain & Sewer Cleaning is a minimum half-day theoretical and practical training. Exam will be done during the training.

The following pre-course requirements must be met:

  • To be in possession of a valis Safety Awareness (SA) certificate
  • To be at least 16 years of age and employed by a company or in a structured training course
  • To be at least 18 years of age if unemployed or not on a structured training course
  • To be able to understand English

The safety awareness course or recap course must be completed prior to attending this course and is valid for 3 years.
