TRAINING FOR THE SIR CERTIFICATE CTO
During this course you will be trained by the experienced instructor, based on the requirements set by SIR, for the Chemical Technical Opertor (CTO) certificate.
The course consists of theoretical information. The course has been developed to preserve the safety of the operator and his surroundings while preventing damage to the installation during chemical technical cleaning activities. The material is explained in an understandable way, based on recognisable, real-life examples. We continuously adjust the content to new requirements and changes in the industry. For this course we use our DERC Industrial Chemical Cleaning course book. Its content is based on the SIR handbook Industrial Chemical Cleaning.
In addition to Dutch, the SIR exam (digital) can also be taken in English, German or French. Our courses are taught in Dutch as standard. In consultation this is also possible in English. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

COURSE SPECIFICATIONS
The duration of the course is two days. The course will be concluded with an official SIR exam, which will take place on the second day. The exam will take place at our SIR certified training location in Stellendam (near Rotterdam).
SIR exam CTO
The exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions and will test the participant’s knowledge regarding safety aspects, equipment and concepts.
SIR certificate CTO
When you have passed the SIR exam, you will receive the SIR certificate Chemical Technical Operator. The certificate has a validity of 3 years.
Renewal SIR certificate CTO
Certificates can be extended from six months before the expiry date to three months after dates, the extension exam consists only of theoretical questions. For extenders we also offer the options:

Languages
In addition to the Dutch language, the SIR exam Chemical Technical Operator can be requested in English. There are also possibilities to follow the course in another language, for further information please contact us.
Course material
For this course we use our DERC Industrial Chemical Cleaning course book. Its content is based on the SIR handbook Industrial Chemical Cleaning.
We will send the SIR manual digitally as soon as the registration has been processed. The SIR app also provides access to the SIR manual.
Register
Register now for the Chemical Technical Operator – HPI course. We arrange registration for the SIR exam. Lunch will be provided during the course.
