Where do DERC Advies courses take place?
Training and instructions are provided on our own premises in Stellendam. Free parking spaces are available. At the bottom of the page you can plan your route. Address: Eendrachtsdijk 1, 3251 AG Stellendam

We advise you to consult the most current travel advice before departure, for example via 9292.nl.
Do I have to bring my own personal protective equipment (PPE) during practical exercises?
During practical training and the exam, activities with a high pressure unit or vacuum truck will take place. It includes the following courses: High Pressure Water Jetter (basic and renewal), High Pressure Pump Operator (basic) and Pressure Vacuum Pump Operator. During these activities, it is obligatory to wear the right protective equipment. It would be appreciated if you could bring your own personal protective equipment, yet it is also possible to use protective equipment from DERC Adviesgroep.
The following materials are required during the courses:
- High Pressure Water Jetter- Basic and Renewal: hearing protection, overall, safety boots, PVC gloves and a face shield.
- High Pressure Pump Operator- Basic: helmet, safety shoes, overall, gloves and safety glasses.
- Pressure Vacuum Pump Operator – Basic: helmet, safety shoes, overall, gloves and safety glasses.
Do I have to bring my identification card?
Every candidate who participates in a DERC Adviesgroep course is obligated to bring his/her identification card. Without a valid identification card, it is not possible to participate in the course. You are also obligated to show your identification card during the exam.
At what time does the course start?
The starting-time differs per course, so please make sure to check your personal confirmation to know when your course starts.
CAN I PARTICIPATE IN AN EXAM WITHOUT FOLLOWING A COURSE?

Is it possible to take part in a training course at a different location?

HOW DOES DERC ADVIESGROEP DEAL WITH PARTICIPANTS WITH DYSLEXIA?
DERC Adviesgroep wants to think along with the customer at all times, we try to help participants with dyslexia in an appropriate way. It may, for example, be an option to request a reading exam from the SIR.

Do you offer training courses in other languages?
We are able to provide you with courses in multiple languages. Almost every SIR manual and SIR exam is available in Dutch, English, German and French. For more information, visit our page other languages.
Is it possible at DERC Adviesgroep to obtain code 95 points?
The Pressure Vacuum and High Pressure courses are registered with the CBR as refresher days for achieving code 95 points.
You can only follow training in the country where you live or work. If you have taken refresher courses abroad, you can register these with the CBR. More information about these regulations and registering can be found on the website of the CBR (This website is only in Dutch)
