TRAINING FOR THE SIR CERTIFICATE HPS
During this course you will be trained by the experienced instructor, based on the requirements set by SIR, for the High Pressure Supervisor (HPS) certificate. The high pressure supervisor guarantees and preserves safety during the performance of high pressure cleaning activities.
The course consists of theoretical information. The course covers the high pressure cleaning techniques and technical possibilities as well as the risks and associated safety measures. The course is developed to ensure that supervisors in the (petro) chemical industry and other industries can guarantee safety during the execution of high-pressure cleaning activities. It also addresses incorrect use and the ability to correct deficiencies. The material is explained in an understandable way, based on recognisable, real-life examples. We continuously adjust the content to new requirements and changes in the industry. For this course we use the SIR handbook High Pressure Water Jetting.

COURSE SPECIFICATION
The duration of the course is three days, consisting of two days of training. The course will then be concluded with an official SIR exam on the third day, which will take place in the morning. The exam will be taken at our training site in Stellendam (near Rotterdam), which is an exam location certified by SIR. It is also possible to offer this course on site at the customer. SIR exam HPS
The exam consists of 30 multiple choice questions and tests the participant’s knowledge regarding safety aspects, equipment and concepts.
SIR certificate HPS
The SIR certificate High Pressure Supervisor (HPS) has a validity of 3 years.
Renewal SIR Certificate HPS
Certificates can be extended from six months before the expiry date to three months after dates, the extension exam consists only of theoretical questions.
Please note: as of September 1, 2020 the extension courses HD will expire.
Languages
In addition to the Dutch language, the SIR high pressure supervisor (digital) exam can be requested in English, German or French. There are also possibilities to follow the course in another language, for further information please contact us.
Course material
The course is based on the SIR manual high pressure liquid cleaning. We will send you the manual digitally as soon as the registration has been processed, the SIR app also provides access to the teaching materials.
Code 95
This course is registered with the CBR, division CCV, as refresher course for code 95. We offer candidates / professional drivers the opportunity to obtain 7 refresher hours during the second course day.
