TRAINING FOR THE SIR CERTIFICATE PVS
In this course, our experienced instructor will prepare you for the SIR exam Pressure Vacuum Supervisor, based on requirements set by SIR. The pressure vacuum supervisor guarantees and preserves safety during the preparation and implementation of pressure vacuum cleaning activities and all cleaning activities with suction excavators.
The course consists of theoretical information. The course covers all pressure vacuum cleaning techniques and technical possibilities. The risks and associated safety measures are also discussed. The course is developed to ensure that supervisors in the (petro) chemical industry and other industries can guarantee safety during the execution of pressure vacuum cleaning activities. It also addresses incorrect use and how to correct deficiencies. The material is explained in an understandable way, based on recognisable, real-life examples. We continuously adjust the content to new requirements and changes in the industry.
In addition to Dutch, the SIR exam (digital) can also be taken in English, German or French. Our courses are taught in Dutch as standard. In consultation this is also possible in English or German. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

COURSE SPECIFICATIONS
The duration of the course is three days, consisting of two days of training. Both the practical part and the theoretical part of the exam will take place at our SIR certified training location in Stellendam (near Rotterdam).

SIR EXAM PVS
The course will then be concluded with an official SIR exam on the third day, which will take place in the morning. Half a day will consist of practical exercises, that will fully prepare you for the SIR exam.
The theoretical part consists of 30 multiple choice questions. It will test the participant’s knowledge regarding safety aspects, equipment and concepts. During the practical exam, the participant must demonstrate that he knows how to work safely by completing a practical assignment.
SIR Certificate PVS
When you have passed the SIR exam, you will receive the SIR certificate for Pressure Vacuum Supervisor. The certificate has a validity of 3 years.
EXTENDING SIR CERTIFICATE PVS
Certificates can be extended from six months before the expiry date to three months after dates, the extension exam consists only of theoretical questions.
To be able to participate in the renewal course, the candidate must be in possession of a valid SIR certificate.
Languages
The SIR exam Pressure Vacuum Supervisor can be requested in addition to the Dutch language in English, German or French. There are also possibilities to follow the course in another language, for more information please contact us.
